Welcome to Alaska Retinal Consultants. We look forward to seeing you in our office for an evaluation. Please keep in mind that your examination may take over two hours to complete, due to the possible need for additional testing. We also ask for your understanding regarding any delays in our schedule caused by emergent retinal cases.
We participate with many commercial insurance carriers and Medicare. We suggest that you contact your insurance plan to confirm our participation, any requirements the carrier may have, and/or benefit coverage at our facility.
If a referral is required by an insurance plan to pay for our services, it is the patient’s responsibility to obtain the necessary referral prior to the visit.
If you are a New Patient and require Medicaid Travel, please contact your referring clinic.
If you are an Existing Patient returning for an appointment, and require Medicaid travel, please contact our Travel Coordinator at (907) 561-1530, option 5, no later than 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Our office offers tele-interpretation. If you require an in-person interpreter, please let us know in advance.
